Police released a video Tuesday showing a former financial adviser to Hillary Clinton getting involved in a heated, profanity-laced confrontation with several officers.

"You may shut the f--- up!" the woman, Caren Z. Turner, 60, shrieks at an officer at one point.

She was trying to use her influence as Port Authority Commissioner and friend of the mayor to tell the police officers what they were and werent going to do. She also told them that she was "over 4,000 police officers herself", which is weird considering the port authority only has 1,600 officers.

Video went viral. She was told that she would resign.

The amount of constraint shown by the officers is amazing.

I wouldn't be able to remain composed like they were if I ever in that situation with someone like her. It would have ended very badly if she ever did that to me and I will just leave it at that.

You learn to deal with it. Let them rant and rave while understanding that there's nothing they say that can change things.

Best thing I've ever seen in regards to this is my old Battalion Chief. He figured out to the 2/3rds of a cent what the average taxpayer contributed to his yearly salary. Took a set of bold cutters and cut a penny into thirds and put said taxpayer contribution in a little baggie. Kept it in his wallet.

One day on a fatal MVC where the road was shut down we had Mr Self Important in his Volvo who complained about having his route blocked. Despite being instructed to the best alternate route he demanded to see the man in charge so here came the Chief. BC gets up there and nicely explains the situation but Mr Self Important isn't having it. Went through all the "well I know.." spiel and the BC replies "Well they would tell you what I'm telling you. You can't get through here" Finally Mr Self Important gets to the "Well I pay your salary" part of his argument and my BC whips out his wallet and produces the baggie and says "Here's your refund. Now either you can sit in the traffic or take the alternate routes we've provided you" It was glorious!

I didn't even know there was such a thing.

Odds are she learned little from this encounter. She will continue to fail to understand why she was asked to resign. She'll probably write a book or something though.
