I liked Ladys and Son. But I've heard a lot of locals don't like it. Its Paula Deen's restuarant.

Take a 20 min trip to Tybee Island and go to Sundae Cafe... it is a hidden gem IMO.

That is because its a touristy place that specializes in common southern food... which can be found nearly everywhere down here. Not worth the hour long wait.

I’ve been once but my experience was so-so, but have heard good things.

For a little more rustic experience, I like Gerald’s Pig and Shrimp on Tybee.

There is a seafood / rolled ice cream place (2 spots in 1) downtown - sounds weird but both are great.

Zunzi’s - voted best sandwich in America

Lady and Son’s - Paula Deen’s restaurant. Has good food but kinda touristy.

Tree house and the Jinx are cool bars.

Basically you can’t go wrong in either City Market or River Street for bars

Wet willies obviously

Take advantage of Savannah’s no open container laws. Get that drink to go.

Tequila Town has by far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Whenever you walk into a Mexican restaurant and La Liga is on tv, you know it’s about to be good.

I know it's a chain restaurant but all the Wild Wing Cafe's I've ever been to have been great. I love the one that defranchised in Roswell called The Wing Cafe.

Also Savannah is the most haunted city in America and there’s a really fun haunted bar crawl

Lady and Sons is not good. Drives me crazy when people I'm with want to go there. But that's just my opinion.

Locals don't like it because it's a tourist trap. I've only been once and I enjoyed it. I felt like I got my money's worth of food, but I stuck to the menu instead of trying the southern fixin's buffet which I heard was bad.

I definitely understand that. The buffet was excellent. The location in Pigeon Forge is really good as well.
