UNT picked up a National JuCo All American. Made NJCAA for both his athletic ability AND his academics. He averaged 18.9 PPG on 44.4% FG shooting and 39.7% from 3. He also averaged 6.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. Also shot 78.5% on FTs. And the most amazing stat, in 32 games he committed ZERO fouls.

Is it amazing or zero defense?

That’s the biggest thing we’ve been missing. Teams have been rounding into form late on the season, but never early it seems.

I absolutely believe that the top 4-5 teams in CUSA last year were every bit as good as all but the very top of the p5 programs. Somehow that has to translate into more non conference wins... quantity and quality.

Watch out for next season as UTEP has picked up a huge transfer in Williams. UTEP beat out Oregon and Arizona. I can honestly say our scout team will be much better than the actual starters eligible to play this season.

Pretty happy with what we have it's just that everyone has done a good job as well.

Looks like a good pick up

ODU picked up another 7-footer this offseason. Will sit 1 and play 3. Currently working on a waiver to get him to play right away for 4 years. We don't have very good luck with waivers like these, though, so I'm not counting on it.
