Dalano Banton 4-star 6'8" point guard rated #77 in class of 2018 by Rivals.
Trevelin Queen is a 6'6" JUCO forward that can fill it up. Averaged 26 ppg this past season.
Galen Smith III is somewhat raw, but has a lot of potential to be a force under the basket down the road.
Matthew Horton is a big body rim protector from the JUCO ranks.
Jeremiah Gambrell is a crafty PG from Texas who also had an offer from Baylor.
That is a very strong looking recruiting class. Stansbury is definitely getting it done for WKU.
Stans continuing to get it done. Tops just landed grad transfer swing man Desean Murray from Auburn. Averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds for the SEC champs. If we can get a grad transfer big, and/or get Bassey to reclassify, then this class will be better than last years.
Terry goes into his old stomping grounds and comes away with Deon Stroud. A three star SF from Fresno California. Only three recruits so far for UTEP but they are all ranked three star.
I’m hearing that WKU is close to getting our last recruit which could be the icing of this years class...... I really hope it happens, it would be HUGE!

A 5 star and top ranked center....
hope it happens we need help in the post
I don't mean this to sound harsh, but what in the world is Stansbury doing to get all of these guys to come to WKU?

Some of the relationships go back to when he was at Texas A&M and I think he takes some chances on kids that might have grade or transcripts issues which may take time to workout. The center we ?might? Get has ties with Mustapha Diagne which joined the WKU team late last season. Rick Stansbury is probably the hardest working recruiter I’ve ever seen, he is not afraid to go after the top players and keep his name fresh with them, you just never know when players just might say yes. Stansbury is a extremely genuine guy and his whole family loves the game of basketball and chips in anyway they can. WKU has a strong basketball history and a beautiful campus with way above avg facilities, so if he can get the kids on campus it becomes a pretty easy sale sometimes

From what’s floating around, the Big Bass is a comin’! If... IF he comes we have the potential to have another great year. Now, if we can just find a GT point guard to take Bearden’s spot and help TH.

Your redshirt recruit, Iran Bennett, needs to tutor young Mr. Brooks Harris in the finer points of eating.
Your recruits now players, the ones you can keep anyways (Jeff does a great job either running them off or the player gets to where he doesn't want to play for him) need to learn to put more than 49 points up in a conference tournament game.
Jeff might be 114-58 in 5 years but he has nothing to show for it, except for a Vegas 16, oooo Vegas 8 (they couldn't even get 16 teams) championship.
Enjoy a lackluster football season this year (You know where ODU recruiting has finished 10th, 13th and 13th in recruiting the last 3 years) and another basketball season where everyone wants to get rid of Jeff Jones but no one is a big enough booster to do it. So ODU just keeps plugging away at mediocracy. Now crawl back to your hole in Norfolk. I'll let Dan and the Marshall conditioning staff worry about Brooks Harris and Bennett. They have won more championships and have had more NCAA appearance and NCAA Tournament wins than Jones in his tenure ODU.
Whoa so jumpy...Woke up on the wrong side of the bed or what? All he said is, that he needs to gain weight and you go on a tirade pointing your fingers nah hands at ODU. Calm down dude.
I thought your comment was legit, but most kids put on some weight with a collegiate trainer behind them. I'm sure by junior year he will have filled out. I would like to see a few more CJ Burkes types that have those shoulders that scream don't ---- with me, like someone hinged the arms on with a cantaloupe.

Yep, all you need is the frame. The rest of the body can be sculpted by the trainers whether it's gaining or losing weight. It will be done. D1 trainers know what they are doing

Dan has been after this kid since Jan. so that's a NO. I don't expect to replace Penava immediately but I do think a rotation of Jannson Williams 6'9, Iran Bennett 6'10 and Ante Šustić 6'11 will work for the majority of the 1st half of next season. After that who ever is more consistent under the basket I think will start getting more playing time then.
I also look for at least Camron Brooks-Harris to redshirt next year and maybe Taevion Kinsey. There was talk that Dan wanted to redshirt Darius George this year, he wanted to last year but needed the bodies. I don't think George will be redshirted at all now unless it comes to a medical redshirt.
