According to dawgnation.com, the official Twitter account for Georgia football has been suspended for nearly 72 hours. Notably, the account was down during the annual G-Day spring game, leaving fans confused as they looked for updates on the game.



The reason for the suspension: repeat violations of the DMCA policy. Apparently, "the account repeatedly tweeted out music that it did not own the rights for, leading to the Twitter suspension."

I'm shocked anybody at UGA could use a keyboard let alone register for a Twitter account let alone post something. I'm not at all surprised that illegal activity soon happened thereafter though.

Some people just don't understand how the internet works. Everyone can see what they write. They should use a parent mode where someone responsible has to approve every post.
