With college hoops over, anyone just dying to fast forward to Labor Day weekend for college football to start?

Have trips planned for Thursday (Northwestern/Purdue), Friday (Syracuse/WMU), and Saturday (NIU/Iowa). Hoping NIU/Iowa is an 11am start so I can drive over for Michigan/Notre Dame after the game.

There’s nothing like travelling for college football games in warm weather.

Anyone start planning roadtrips yet?

really any time quite frankly. Last year ESPN looking back released their times on May 25. I think looking at it- may have something to do with the TV fall schedule releases which are the week right before Memorial Day(I know that's when we found out a few games with Fox as well quite frankly)...

The "upfronts", where networks brag about their fall programming to advertisers, are in mid-May, but game times are not announced then. What is sometimes announced then is which network (ESPN or Fox) gets certain big games among the college conferences for which they share TV rights.

Late May or early June is about right for the first announcements of early-season game times. The Mountain West's press release announcing 2018 football TV coverage includes TV game dates, and CBSSN game times, and notes that they expect ESPN game times for the first three weeks of the season by mid-June.

Can't wait to get the new TV contract rolling. Those late start times are a killer for the CST/EST viewers.

Wonder whose idea it was to have CSU and Air Force play on Thanksgiving Day at the same time as Redskins-Cowboys.

No planning really needed per se, but with so many weekday games for WMU, am planning on going to the road games vs UofM, CMU, and BGSU.

A bunch of gametimes are getting released today.
