and here comes a democrat wanting free stuff. predictable.
Shere, I was going to respond to this anyway, but that was VERY funny... well done
Marc, I think the very clear point here is that while many on the right have reasons (other than the report of the NRA) to not support Yeti and of course there are a few morons who go off the edge like the guy in the video... 'public statements' like this about things that don't really make a hill of beans to most people aren't the sort of thing that people on the right get especially fired up about, other than in response to the left... i.e. if the left boycotts and protests and threatens a Christian baker for refusing to do a gay wedding, the right MAY come out and support the baker... but if it weren't for the initial response by the left... not merely of not going to the baker, but of intimidating and threatening and making a production out of doing so, the right probably wouldn't care by and large.
The right did this years ago with abortion clinic protests etc... but you really just don't see it in any sort of mainstream these days... but from the left, they're still doing it.
Student walkouts protesting school shootings... as if there is ANYONE who supports school shootings or shooters.

LOL.

Quote:NRA Florida lobbyist Marion Hammer, a former president of the national gun-rights group, gave us a little more detail about the intensifying battle between hipster cooler company YETI and the National Rifle Association.
According to Hammer, YETI cut off its affiliation with the NRA Foundation in response to the Feb. 14 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, which left 14 students and three staff members dead.
Quote:Here’s what Hammer told us this morning about the origin of the spat:
“YETI severed ties with the NRA and is now engaging in damage control after a backlash from many of its customers. In early March, YETI refused to place a previously negotiated order from NRA-ILA, citing ‘recent events’ as the reason – a clear reference to the tragedy in Parkland, Florida. YETI then delivered notice to the NRA Foundation that it was terminating a 7 year agreement and demanded that the NRA remove the YETI name and logo from all NRA digital assets, as well as refrain from using any YETI trademarks in future print material. While YETI is trying to spin the story otherwise, those are the facts.”
