It will be an interesting year. The team should be improved IMO but they have a tougher schedule with UB, BC, and UMD replacing Army, Umass, and ND in the non-conference schedule. Temple should have been 8-4 in the regular season last year by starting Nutile over Marchi. First year mistake by a new HC.

Looking at this year's schedule I saw 7 likely wins. Not sure what it will end up being, but 8-4 would be a good season especially if one of those wins is MD or BC.

This early I look at probable point spreads:
Temple as a big favorite (-4 and higher) Villanova, Buffalo, Tulsa, ECU, Cincinnati, UConn

Temple even odds (-3 to +3) Maryland, Navy

Temple as a big dog (+4 and higher)
Boston College, UCF, USF, Houston

Temple wins their 6 favored games, split their even games and steal a dog game gets us to 8 wins. If we are as improved as the article states 9 or 10 is doable. Cannot wait for kickoff!

Since when does -4 = big favorite?

Is BC really expected to be that good this year?

BC may not win the ACC, but they are capable of winning 10 games this year. They have been improving slowly and quietly for years.

I agree with this article. Temple is dangerous this year and has proven they can win titles.

My kind of statement, Ron Mexico.

I look at that schedule and can see a 10-2 year. Only losses to UCF and Navy—always a tricky one.
Youse guys should bash BC and something about Mary land.
