Yes, my kids have been going to NIU games since they were born, Huskie fans thru & thru. My son who will be a soph is a little down trying to get his peers fired up to go to football & hoop games. Everything seems like such a battle to get positive momentum, but I will continue to be the source of positivity to NIU

Your son probably has firsthand knowledge of what is causing the lack of interest among his peers. Is it team performance? Lack of marketing by Athletics? Lack of building excitement? Perception that NIU is in a lower conference? If the reason(s) is identified, perhaps it can be addressed.

They have better things to do than use their Gnat sized attention span on their schools sports. Where have you been living, under a rock or in the 1970's?
