2018-19 Women's roster
And so the post Tianna Tarter era begins...

Noticed on Twitter that Ezell & Co. gained a commitment from Kacie Fountain, a 5'8" G out of Southwest Mississippi Community College. She averaged 5.5 ppg, 4 rpg, and 6 apg with one of the best A/TO ratios in the country.

In the early signing period, Ezell picked up another promising crew of freshman. On paper, this signing class looks to be another stellar one.

RE: 2018-19 Women's roster
Alayjah Sherer announced her plans to transfer to NW Florida State. I am surprised by this - saw a promising trajectory for her career at ETSU.

Apparently she didn't like the fact that Micah Scheetz was going to get playing time along with her.
I wish her well!

RE: 2018-19 Women's roster
It certainly sounds like 6'2" Lexie Spears might be a difference maker for us: a dominating force in the paint with 14.1 points a game last year at Morgan State on .540 FG%, 7.6 rebounds, 20 blocks, 36 steals. We have had some good rebounders the last couple years who have had difficulty scoring. That does not appear to be a problem for Spears.

She is a big woman and makes an interesting statement with a tattoo on her entire massive upper right arm of an elephant holding flowers. She is a big person, and she's going to own it. http://www.etsubucs.com/wbasketball/news...us-spears/

The last couple of years Coach Ezell has taken a much more aggressive approach to recruiting. She's going for quality, and then more quality. Kind of like another coach we know. She's not going to let Haynes-Overton spend a career without championships.

4 Carley Lytton G 5"11" R-Jr. Floyd, Va. (Floyd County HS)
5 Raven Dean F 6'1" Sr. Charlotte, N.C. (Ardrey Kell HS)
10 Jada Craig G 5'4" Jr. Winston-Salem, N.C. (Winston-Salem Prep Academy)
11 Taisha Murphy G 5'10" Jr. Clayton, N.C. (Richmond College)
13 Shynia Jackson F 6'1" Fr. Warner Robbins, Ga. (Warner Robbins HS)
14 Kaia Upton G 5'6" Fr. Nashville, Tenn. (East Nashville Magnet HS)

With Mercer and Chattanooga suffering some key losses, there are opportunities for the Bucs this year.
