Tulane goes into the bottom of the ninth down two, ties it, and then with a man on third and one out, LSU intentionally loads the bases. Their stud closer then walks in the winning run on 4 pitches.

That is one baseball strategy that baffles me though.... even when my dad would talk it out to me.... WHY load the bases? Too easy to score for yourself and you would be counting on your pitcher to strike the guy out or not throw some wild pitch where a guy could steal home plate. His retort was you have a out at any base so...

Tulane's lead off homerun at the bottom of the 9th when it was 9-7 made LSU's butt pucker. It was a good game.
