I have never heard or seen anyone say that. I've seen a few hint around that they thought he wasn't too smart. One is banned now, and one is "grounded", and another is drunk but you can hear him on Tuesdays. (He's come around, BTW). But I've always challenged that because when you talk to the man and listen, you know that's just not the case. Plus, his success in everything he has done speaks for itself.

This thread kinda sums up the good and bad of this message board. You got some folks legitimately providing useful info to those of us who just come here because we're jonesing for all things Tigers. Then you got some folks sniping at one another over petty stuff like they're in the 7th grade. I wish there was a petty BS filter on these threads, I'd uncheck that box.

I think that's fair, that was a problem last year (except a few games guys caught unsustainable fire) and is often a problem for the Tigers.

Seems like the scouting report on the Tiger program is invariably play a 2-3 zone and dare them to jack threes.

We need more Johnnie Mac type zone busters every year.

Harris is a zone buster. Jayden is a zone buster, though I doubt he plays much this year. All the other guys can shoot the three but I wouldn't call any of them shooters.

I think what Penny is saying is the NBA teams have a lot of shooters and he just wants to make sure that he has threats on the floor at all times. How many times have you seen a defense slack off defending a college player because they know he can't shoot a three. But if Memphis has three players on the floor who can each shoot a three.....that causes defensive problems for the opposing team.

Penny continues to impress.

Apparently you don't know as much about recruiting regulations as you thought.

Recruiting is fluid. Reason I asked is in interviews penny and miller hasn't discussed any of the signees. And they have had plenty of opportunities. But nice personal shot at my character. Never said I knew everything about recruiting or I wouldn't have asked the question Einstein.
