Golf DQ?
Anybody know what happened out there today in the first round of the golf championships? UNT posted that due to a DQ, they moved up the standings. Who, what, when, where, why.

RE: Golf DQ?
could've failed to turn in his card, could've been caught cheating, could be a drug test violation, could be grades (seriously doubtful), could've gotten into a fight with Bob Barker (however, that's highly unlikely coming from an Owl ).....who knows....
regardless, if he's out for the tourney, that puts Rice at a serious disadvantage moving forward....
it's not due to signing an incorrect scorecard.....they simply tack 2 on to your score for that one.....I'm also not square with the current version of how the ncaa/cusa handles scorecard violations these days....it would surprise me if failure to turn in a card would get you a DQ for the tourney.....it does in individual events, but team competition should simply yield an NC (no card)
the bottom line is the price was wrong for him.....at least he's your 5 guy.....I can't find anything about the 'why'.....
apparently your 1 guy is solid.....his stroke avg. is a shade over par for the year....that's pretty sporty in CUSA terms....
