Recruiting
Follow @JucoRecruiting

6’8 F JJ Matthews from Moberly Area CC has signed with Arkansas State. Will have 3 years of eligibility.

Red Wolves adding some talented pieces this offseason

Wish I could find evidence that we are finding some players for next season.

RE: Recruiting
Given the number of players we have to recruit, the continuing silence is a little worrisome. I understand that they may want to announce them all together, but you would think Verbal Commits or someone like that would be giving some information about signings.

I cant figure out why Steinbronn hasn't signed yet. His twitter still shows he's committed but I don't understand the waiting. Everyone knows about him anyway.

RE: Recruiting
Last season for Little Priest Tribal College, he averaged 16.1 ppg, 8.7 rpg and shot 52.9% overall. He had 41 blocks. So, even if he is a project, he probably has something for Walker to work with.

His numbers look very promising. I just have no clue what the competition was like in his league, which I believe is a "DII" Juco conference.

RE: Recruiting
This is getting ridiculous. How much time left do we have to sign people?

We have all summer. I believe the official signing period lasts for a month. I think after that "signings" are nonbinding, but we can certainly add recruits during that time.

I'd sure like to hear something. But, there are probably some advantages to keeping recruiting "quiet". For example, a program may lose a potential recruit when he hears that another comparable player is being recruited for the position he plays. Then the program ends up getting neither player. I have no clue what is going on behind the scenes. But, I'm not going to pass judgment until the dust settles and we see what we end up having on our roster.
