Well... After this season, there are now more than 30,000 applications to UBuffalo.... That's a record for one year applications to the school.
Great. They've made $1.5 million+ on the application fees (if everyone paid and there were no fee waivers), but what does that really mean?
It means you can likely be more selective and/or grow your enrollment. UB has been growing at a healthy (not too fast, not too slow) pace for the past decade.
If you want to talk money...
That growth has mainly come from outside of WNY... A lot of kids from NYC, the Capitol Region, and central NY. WMY has been flat, as has kids from other states.
While out of state students are the "money" you can't ignore that kids coming from outside of WNY are far more likely to live on campus than kids from WNY. That both (1) adds money to the pot and (2) increases the density of student and the student life experience.
Quote:How many have been accepted?
If trends hold I would guess UB will end up admitting somewhere between 4K and 4.5K this year.
Quote:Or do you have a number of incomplete applications? Or a number of applications where the student has notified the Office of Admissions they would like to withdraw their application.
This is the total number of completed applications, from the University.

When UB went to the tournament for the first time, under Hurley, it translated the next year.
