If its Wiseman I doubt we'll learn anything until later. I think he might he limited playing summer ball if he reclassified before then.
Why play summer ball when Wiseman can get injured? He is already NBA material.
He should go ahead and reclassify asap if he can. That way he can relax and have fun during the summer before going to college.
100% wrong. Wiseman wants to play the EYBL Nike tournaments this summer. Nike wants him to play also, for obvious reasons. If he reclassifies now, he can't do that.
Relax? Are you kidding me? No scholarship basketball or football player relaxes during the summer. They are on campus, lifting weights early in the morning, taking classes, eating lunch together, scrimmaging, having mandatory meetings with tutors. The are kept very busy. Believe me, playing on a top EYBL is a lot more fun for a 17 year old.
Good point. Still don't think Wiseman will reclassify after the EYBL since their finals will be in mid July and college starts the next month. I'll take his mother's word for it.

You may be right. Wiseman is very young, and one can understand momma wanting him to wait. Not eligible for draft until '20 anyway.
Still, lot can happen between now and August.

I agree, mom wants him to be a kid while he is a kid. Probably for the best.

I don't guess Chandler Lawson can reclassify can he ... Perhaps he and Wiseman finish AAU and both sign early.

I havent seen for sure that Jaylen has actually signed for a scholarship yet. They may still be holding that just incase. If they don't use it, Jaylen takes it, if something huge comes up, Jaylen can walk-on.
I think Jaylen has signed. If only because the school’s official twitter recognized him. Don’t think you can do that for walk-ons until the season starts (ie mentioning an unsigned prospect is a violation)
Which may very well be the case, like I said, I just haven't seen it myself. Also, even if he has, I am not sure if you can also take the scholarship back. Possibly? Either way I think we can work it out if it comes down to it. I really would be suprised if they pulled Azab's scholarship if he is sick, also we need him to graduate if his condition allows him to finish school.
He can medically retire and the school could put him on an academic scholarship. Some schools do a lot of that with football players.
Yeah, didn't we do that with Hipp? If he's in good standing, there are options. Also, there is still recovery time (without knowing what he's dealing with), so still a chance we could help him transfer down a division. I will be surprised if he is on athletic scholly at Memphis next year.

If he did that, how would that affect APR for the basketball team? Do they still get credit if he graduates on academic scholarship?
He would be removed from the calculation.

I hope Keelon's right. But after listening to him for a year now, as a general rule, I ain't buying what he's selling.

So, merely graduating actually hurts the APR.
That is something special.
I guess you get one point for being academically eligible but zero points for retaining.
A grad transfer helps the school it leaves but hurts the school it goes to.
Something special indeed.

Nah. Once they graduate they roll off the calculation. Both the numerator and the denominator decrease. In theory, they are replaced by a new person rolling on to the calculation. So no helping or hurting.

But a new player coming in doesn't yet have retainment.
Nor do they yet have a 2.6 GPA.
Or upon the start of fall semester do they get a 1 for being eligible and then a 1 for being in school?
This is some fishy stuff.
Speaking of fish, I have some frozen salmon.
Is it possible to thaw that stuff out and smoke it or no?
Salmon croquettes or something?
What the hell do you do with frozen salmon?

Thaw it out then broil or bake in oven with garlic, butter and lemon. Asparagus cooked with it is good ... Use the same stuff. You can grill it or smoke it too.

This aint that hard...
If a player graduates you get 1 out of 1 possible points.
If a player transfers with a GPA above 2.6 your get 2 out of 2 possible points
If any of those two things happen you are not penalized at all you are getting 100% of the available points.
So if you are calculating APR based on the two above players you would have an APR of you would have a 1000 (perfect) APR

There seems to be more players on the list of prospects in the CA for 2019 that Penny is recruiting that are also considering reclassifying to 2018. Here is one of them:

I like this kid Lecque. Check out his mixtape. If there was anyway you could add him and Wiseman, it would be game on.
