Well, considering we landed a 6’0 PG and still have a 6’4 guard visiting at the end of the week. I’d say we’ve filled McCoys spot unless we can’t land Henry this weekend. But, it’s no longer McCoy’s spot we are trying to fill.

Unless it's an eligibility issue, it would make more sense to be one of the fall signees. Of those, Boyce backing out is the obvious conclusion. But I'm just speculating.

I think that is correct. I remember reading the tweet about his visit and it read something to the effect "as of now" he plans to visit UAB...

So what’s the word on Boyce?

As far as we know, before this morning we already had a full roster(13scholarships).

6- Sully, Perry, Gueye, Bryant, Hurtado, McCoy
3- Jude, Pearson, Boyce
4- Lovan, Butler, Bertain, Scott-Grayson

if they found somebody worthy enough, they were going to pull McCoy’s scholarship.
-insert Bell, who never visited UAB before committing. Not even Loyola or UNLV

Daily Dragon alluded to us not being through after we signed Scott-Grayson.

For those who go that deep into recruiting and research - Out of the 7 signees, only one has removed UAB from his Twitter bio and hasn’t posted or retweeted anything Pro UAB in months. (No, it’s not Jude)

Boyce hasn't shown much UAB love lately, while working out with a Memphis signee. Could be the last piece or that scholarship is McCoy. Unless new offers come out like Antonio Daye who could reclassify back into 2018, or the 6'7 division 2 PG we recently shown interest in.

While it may mean something, working out with a Memphis signee may not mean anything either. The Memphis signee is a friend and teammate. There are no UAB signees in Memphis to workout with. I'm too old, busy and out of shape to step in.
