Steve Alford has fired his Chief recruiter at UCLA.

The rumor is that Murray Bartow will replace him.

Now if only Murry Bartow could find a job.

Maybe someone should start a rumor that Murry will change his name to Murray & all will be taken care of.

An interesting tidbit from an LA Times article:

On a hunch I looked up the Drews:
Homer Drew has 640 and Scott Drew has 318 and counting for 958 combined, so they are close but not in top 5.

Drawing a blank at other winning father/son duos.

The John Thompsons (Georgetown) maybe????

I checked my two. Bennett's are up there but not top 5. Willard's aren't close.

Obviously the missing tandem can rank anywhere between 1 and 4.

I guess excluded by the way the article was written, but Pat & Tyler Summit combined for 1128 wins, so they would be second on the list.
