Monty Porter
Was browsing twitter today and noticed he followed a dozen or so Houston accounts. Does anybody know if he has left WMU?

Thank you Monty for your service to the Brown & Gold!

Yes, first I heard about it was earlier this week. Nice landing spot for him if he’s trying to advance in his career. I like what Houston’s done in recent years heavily investing in their athletic department.

Kathy’s got some big holes to fill now having lost Corbin, Porter, and Constange not that long ago. Best of luck to Monty. Maybe we’ll see him back here someday in the future.

RE: Monty Porter
Mellissa Porter will also be missed. She holds a key position with Gary Fund

Best wishes to Monty and Melissa. Both are good people and were great Broncos. I used to like Monty Porter's color commentary on the football broadcasts. Disappointed when he was moved out of that role. From talking with him afterward, I think he was too.

Never was a huge fan of Monty, but there is no questioning his love and dedication to WMU. If he's leaving (and Mellissa, too!), it will be a huge loss.

Kathy's staff is stressed. I can't imagine how much more Stone could possibly do. He works non-stop! I hope they take care of him.

Time to promote Paul DeVries?

I don't see it. We have a dozen Associate or Assistant ADs in addition to Beauregard and her administrative assistant. And a lot of the sports have "Director of Operations" people.

We're a mid-major athletic program with 15 teams, not Ohio State.
