This time in correct forum.

For the first time in many years we will see a bump day at Indy. With the addition of JR Hilderbrand (DRR) and James Davison (AJ Foyt) the entry list for the 2018 Indy 500 has risen to 35 cars. Possibly more to come as both Sebastian Saavedra and Juan Piedrahita are both rumored to have finances in place to run if they can make a deal with a car owner.

Now if they would only return to the old qualifying format which saw Sebastian Saavedra qualify for the 500 in 2010 while he was being treated at an Indianapolis Hospital ER following a practice crash trying to get back up to speed after being bumped from race.

Happy hour on Sunday should be about trying to make last ditch effort to make the race and not deciding which of the top 9 cars will start where.
