RE: Friday Night Stripes - 4/13/18 - Spring Scrimmage
To me, it looked like Moore was the more successful of the two last night. I was surprised the 2 freshmen QBS were out there without protective grey jerseys on.

Okay... I can't let the spring season go without a few comments on the Blue/Grey game experience.
-As others have mentioned, the sound system???? WTH??? I would swear they were not using the speakers in the JumboTron.
-As usual, the THREAT of weather kept a lot of people away (in my opinion), not the ACTUAL weather, which was pretty nice.
-My son and daughter-in-law were told by the season ticket desk that "the open seats available for purchase are marked with signs." Sure enough, there were signs on, like, TWO seats in the whole 101 section. I don't think every one that was available was marked.
-I get it. They needed to block off 2/3 of the stadium to make the crowd seem concentrated. But they also want to sell season tickets on the East side. They should have opened up the east side for season ticket selection, and marked every available seat with a sign (8 1/2x11 sheet of paper).
-I hope next year we have the depth to split into 2 teams and run an actual score, because I tell you, that DeAngelo/Elliot portion was the most exciting portion of the "game".
-We took 9th in the BBQ contest. I pretty proud of a top 10, especially a BBQ contest in Memphis TN. ... The wind all day was BRUTAL.

Not hard to believe considering the Jumbotron has been gone for a few years now.

Maybe next year they could move the crowd to the visitor side and mark every available seat and really push for season ticket sales/sign-ups? I sit on the visitor side (row 8 w/ seatbacks) and love the seats - would be nice to fill up that side, especially the lower section, and would look better on tv.

There MAY be some strategy to not put too much white paper up like that. It makes it look like there's no need to hurry to get your season tickets... there's plenty available.

Yes, I posted that map as a reference for section location only. I see that the prices on that map (straight from the GTG site) are wrong/from last year.
ETA: I just found the current year map with prices ->

How many teams competed?
Our group couldn't get together this year due to work but we are hoping to participate next year. I wanted to thank Norvell for taking my advice about staying here at least 5 years.
