Congrats! Looks like he had offers from several other schools with Florida Gulf Coast probably the best on the list. Of course, if I were him I would have chosen NMSU over those other schools too. His opportunity to play in the dance is much greater. I do hope GCU spoils that though.

Depending on what recruiting site you look at, Jeanlouis is rated either a 3-star or 2-star recruit. However, given Jeanlouis' physical attributes, I think Jans can develop him into an elite player in the WAC.

RE: WAC commits 2018-19
Seattle U gets a commitment from 2018 6'8 PF Jacob Eyman from California. A former UTEP signee, he will come to Seattle U. He had offers from Utah Valley, EWU, Hofstra and CS-Northridge. Solid pick up, that makes two PF/C commits

The only two recruiting sites to evaulate Jeanlouis rated him 3*** Recruit. ESPN didn't evaulate him.

RE: WAC commits 2018-19
Cal Baptist has picked up Fairfield transfer 6'4 guard Ferron Flavor Jr. He is originally from Federal Way, WA and played at South Mountain CC for a season. As a Freshman at South Mountain CC, he averaged 17.9 ppg and hit 91 threes with a 41.4 3pt-FG%. As a Sophomore at Fairfield he started 24 games, averaged 12.3 ppg & 3.6 rpg, and hit 95 threes with a 33.6 3pt-FG%. Ferron Flavor will need to sit out next season and be eligible as a Junior for the 2019-20 season.

The Flavors transfer is an interesting one. I wonder if he simply did not like CT and wanted to be closer to home.

Not a commit yet, nor is he a 2018-19 kid, but I had a good chuckle yesterday when I saw it announced that GCU has offered Max Majerle (2021). Yes, THAT Majerle. None other than the only begotten son of one Thunder Tan. I just want to know what family dinners or even discipline look like in the Majerle household during recruiting dead periods now?

Dan: cGo to your room, Max. You're grounded."
Max: *ring, ring* "Hello, NCAA? I'd like to report illegal contact with a recruit during a dead period."

That was hilarious Leadley. Thanks for the laugh. 04-cheers
On another note, this seems to imply that Dan plans on staying a while at GCU.

Number aren't great, but that is likely because he came off the bench this year as a Freshman on varsity. Looks like he was mainly in for garbage time situations. He does have some game from what I have seen from him in the arena before games, but will likely be a two or three star recruit when he gets ranked.

How are they getting verbal commits from kids without having one from a head coach? Hats off to whoever is still out there grinding and getting kids to sign. Must be an almost impossible task.

Chicago State has to be one of the most dysfunctional athletic programs I have ever seen. The fact they still haven't hired a coach is ridiculous.
