MyBB Troy women's bball signs Auburn, Ole Miss transfers
Troy announced yesterday that the women's basketball team has signed Ole Miss transfer Kate Rodgers, who was ranked the #9 Forward in the nation and was a 4-star recruit. She saw significant playing time as a freshman and sophomore. She'll have two years to play.

Troy also announced today that they signed former Auburn player Tyra Johnson, who was the #24 Point Guard in nation and was also a 4-star recruit by ESPN. She's immediately eligible.

On top of all that, we had a transfer from La Tech that sat out last season and is now eligible this season. She was one of La Tech's best players and will have two years to play.

Troy women's basketball is about to become a killer... maybe one day the men's team can follow suit...

I'm guessing the two transfers have to sit out a year?

Maybe the Ole Miss transfer, but the Auburn transfer went to Chipola CC before she transferred to Troy, so she should be able to play immediately.

So what does this change? We all knew a team with a Trojan Mascot was going to win the Women's Basketball title next week. Maybe it's just a different Trojan than most are expecting. (Nah, Foley is still winning it again)
