If you are bringing in good arms, you should plan on needing to replace those guys after three years.

We will never find the pitching depth of an SEC school. But we should almost always have at least two quality starters that can consistently throw 6-7 innings, a good closer, a steady middle reliever, and one or two other guys that can occasionally pitch at a high level.

The discouraging thing about this year’s team is that they have a good number of veterans. It’s just that very few of them are good.

The fact that we keep running Keys out there to start games says all you need to know.

It's amazing how a lotta folks did not want Sandlin to start IF he was available....OP starts a QUALITY pitcher with good stats and we start a stressed-out pitcher with SH!T stats (not picking on JC, didn't really matter who our starter was)...That's much more UNFAIR than USM possibly starting Sandlin!

Get Strickland out, give the ball to Mikell, and let him go as far as he can.

Hell, this is the second time we’ve faced him in three weeks and he’s rolling through our lineup. This is probably the best starter we will see this year after Pilkington.

I never like our power teams playing in this park either. It’s a graveyard for fly balls.
