No, Mueller sent it to someone else because he didnt want to get skulldrug in front of Judge Emmet Sullivan again, which is where this would have ended up.
You jumped to a false conclusion. It is not a fishing expedition. The Feds had to establish a convincing case that there is reasonable cause to believe a crime has been committed as part of the process for obtaining the warrant. They also had to establish there was cause to believe that SPECIFIC evidence would be found at Cohens business and Apt. Hardly a fishing expedition.
Cohen is a "fixer". Basically an unethical POS and it's now catching up to him. But yeah, Trumps gonna drain the swamp!!!
Not a fishing expedition? Hilarious. What is the original ‘crime’ that required a special council? Right. There was none. It is a hit on DJT pure and simple. No way this ends well. The sore losers will propel this country into irreparable division at the least, civil war at the worst all the while giving Putin exactly what he wanted. Khrushchev would be rolling in laughter in his grave.
Good grief...drop the hyperbole and hair on fire nonsense.
There didn't have to be a crime dude. The main thrust of the special counsel was to investigate Russian meddling in our election.
And no trump, it's not a Special Council...it's a Special Counsel.
You are ignorant of the special COUNCEL law. But you are a good editor.

A coup d'état (/ˌkuː deɪˈtɑː/ (About this sound listen); French: [ku deta]), also known simply as a coup, a putsch (/pʊtʃ/), golpe de estado, or an overthrow, is a type of revolution, where the illegal and overt seizure of a state by the military or other elites within the state apparatus occurs.[1]
This is an attempt by the elites within the state apparatus to overthrow the government. It's a coup.
And just stop it with the superiority act. Good God, indeed.

Also do you not realize what a terrible precedent is being set??
Special counsel for presidents will now be the norm. Only the Clinton types are going to run which would be awful for our country

Really. Everyone realizes now (I think even Ken Star), that the Clinton special prosecutor was too far reaching.

I also don't like the idea of a law enforcement agency thinking it answers to no one but themselves. That is dangerous.

I was not implying the end of his presidency necessarily meant removal via impeachment...sorry for the confusion. I meant more that he would cease to be able to accomplish anything as the American people and congress would render him useless.

No, they won't. It's a high bar to convene a Special Counsel on a president. Keep in mind that again, the Special Counsel here was not convened to go after trump.

That's totally fine as long as he sticks to the law. However, that in no way excuses him from being chastised for moronic takes like this:
"If this were Hillary Clinton being investigated and they went into her lawyer's office, the ACLU would be on every television station in America, jumping up and down," he added.

Technical point. Uniformed police enforce the law. Investigators look into possible violations of law.
