Remaking the judiciary
Reading this story this morning has made me do a happy dance. 02-13-banana 03-cloud9 04-cheers

IMHO, the best thing about Trump's presidency is the type of judges he will name to the appellate courts, especially the Supreme Court. If he would simply appoint competent judges with a love of the Constitution and the rule of law, that would be enough, but he is still likely to be able to name members to the SCOTUS too. 04-rock I like it.

Indeed. If he did nothing more than reshape the judiciary with competent judges, I'd be a happy man. Of course, he's going to do much more. And during 8 years in office, I'm sure he'll have ample opportunities to appoint Supremes that will guide and dominate the court for a generation to come.

It's all good. 04-cheers

Political appointees ARE the problem, not the solution.

...your alternative would be what?

the only change I make is setting age limits for entry and exit (which essentially provides a de facto term limit)

And one good thing McConnell is doing. Judges are his priority.
