houston picks up 4star grad transfer qb Quinten Dormady, started 5 games for Tennessee last season

this makes no sense for us or for him....Houston has already named a starting qb, he is coming here knowing he'd be a backup?
we have other position needs, why are we using a scholarship on a qb?

i guess it doesnt hurt to have another qb on the roster

It does when he comes from the SEC team currently on a losing streak against every other SEC team.

Joking - extra depth is always good.

Outkick the Coverage likes to beat up on ESPN.

Here is his ESPN+ article. Says ESPN is today's Blockbuster Video.

Auburn "drew" an "announced crowd" of 28,033. Let's hope UCF gets 28,034, lol...

Having more people than Auburn would be awesome! Hell, just get close to that and announce a higher number than Auburn just to continue to troll the SEC.

Everyone knows that Alabama (and by extension, Auburn) is as obsessed with UCF as the Manson Family was with Sharon Tate.

RE: AAC Spring Football Information Thread
I've read 2 different write ups on the Tiger spring game. One had the crowd at 10,000, the other had it at 11,000, and this on a night when thunderstorms were predicted. With that being said, big deal, what's important is the attendance at the regular season games. What's more important to me is who will be the starting QB and how well he'll perform. This could possibly be Norvells best team since he's been here. If our QB situation lives up to Norvells expectations, this years team will be very good, and again will be fighting for the league championship. This league is loaded with some really good teams (ask some of the so called P5 schools) which should make for a fun, competitive, and exciting season. Good luck to all our fellow AAC teams, especially in their ooc games. GO TIGERS!

Temple picked up grad transfer S Rodney Williams from Syracuse. He's a very good in the box safety--more of a LB. Gives us a veteran presence with a mostly young secondary.

Another three to go, at a minimum. Big time pickup. Terence Williams could be next.

Deontay Anderson has been granted immediate eligibility. He has three years of eligibility remaining. Sat out voluntarily last season, and was all SEC freshman team his freshman season. Former top 50 player. That gives UH four ESPN 300 players on the defense in Ed Oliver, Isaiah Chambers, Darrion Owens, and Deontay Anderson. We should have the best DL and S group in the league.
