I thought I read something on the this board (therefore it must be true) he had a plate put in his head as a result of an injury against the Bobkittens.

Is it microwaveable or is he going to sit?

He was expected to be cleared this summer for full practice. He did have small plate and missed very serious injury by a few mm. Triangle shaped divot in his head from contact by Ohio players knee on the bench. Talked to him after season and he's in good spirits.

Good to hear he is well. But is it microwaveable?

So I know they have a microwave cap device that can detect brain bleeds from head injuries. Question is the repair plate metal, which would preclude microwave evaluation? Or what?

Rumor military can Implant microwave communication devices. Seems excessive for G5 use.

I still have dizzy and nausea from a head impact almost 35 years ago. Scar tissue I assume.

Is the tissue 2 ply or single? Squeeziably soft? Whipplish or Whipplesque?03-cloud9

I'm excited. Hopefully will stay for 4 years. I am hoping he is a true playmaker.

Patrick has a lot of skills;good ball handling for a big man, 3 point outside shooting, defense -- blocking shots, fast and elusive, driving/dunking.

RE: Patrick Emilien on an official visit
I like what I see. As always though, the adjustment to D1 college ball is difficult. Some make the transition faster than others. Some struggle to ever make the complete transition to feeling comfortable with the speed and physical nature of the game at this level.

What I like is that he can play both inside and out. Was said to have drained 10 threes in one game. Jon Workman redux? (Minus the foot problems) I could see him at either the 4 or 3. Bench depth may determine that. We don't have much of it.

Will need to hit the weight room and add some mass. They all do.

Kudos to Hawk and the staff. I like this addition. Now, find another diamond in the rough. Please.

04-cheers
