The proportion of WSU baseball fans that AREN'T completely surprised by the club’s performance thus far this year can be counted on a knife edge. Most of us were all in on a pitchfork party for WSU HC Todd Butler for several seasons now, and still may be back there again eventually. Looks like he’s finally got himself some quality assistant blood, so at a minimum he has a temporary reprieve.

He has also involved Gene Stephenson with the team. It seems to be making a huge difference.
