Chicago State is set to join the NEC, bringing the league's full membership to eight, starting July 1, 2024 per CollegeAD. An official announcement is expected today.

There actually is some speculation from informed Danes fans on the America East board that Albany might be interested in the real estate. That wouldn't be a merger of the school or anything. Just buying the buildings. Saint Rose would still be dunzo.
