That sucks. Friday night games are almost impossible for working out of towners to make.

That’s the first week of high school playoffs here, high school football is king around here and will dominate a Friday night. Attendance will blow chunks

It really is sad that we have to worry about competing with high school games. They should be worried our games got moved to Friday.

Are the games being moved for CBSSN or Stadium?

Not announced but most probably CBSSN. They like to do college football on Fridays.

Not a fan of moving games to Friday for CBS Sports. It's not on most expanded basic TV packages. You don't get it without a sports add on package.

People aren't checking it to see what's on the way they would with ESPN, ESPN2, or even FS1. But.. beggars can't be choosers.

Guys, we need to play national TV games whenever we can. Getting away from ESPN has caused a mighty fall for us....

The game is at Middle so it wont affect attendance......

usual 9k with 15,000 to 18,000 listed should be around the same

How many people do you think are really watching these G5 fb games? I mean other than fans of the two schools?

For some context and btw I'm sure the below numbers are higher than CBSS but does it really make a difference? a small sample of what numbers look like over a few weeks...espnu ranges double digits to a couple hundred thousand. espn2 games go from low 100k to 400k

(175K)espn2 Toledo/Bowl. Green (wed)
310K)espn2 Ohio/Akron (wed)
359K)espn2 UNLV/New Mexico (Friday)
(310K)espn2 Ohio/Akron
(251K)espnu Navy/Tulsa
106K)espnu San Jose St./UNLV
(442K)espn2 Memphis/UCF

Oh. Wow. You are so funny. Better not quit your day job.

Why it's funny? Coming from a school where we once had as many people in your stadium as you did. Oh that and more attendance smack. Yeah, that never gets old.

Well, our game with Middle on a Friday night last year had 453K viewers. I'd say that was A LOT more viewers than just fans of the two schools considering our games on Facebook Live do about 2,000. The channel matters for attracting casual viewers.

I couldn't even find ratings for games on CBS-SN.

This is true. Which outdrew a number of P5 games on Saturday - especially those on FS1 to help make your point even stronger.

There is a chance this game is moved for ESPN and not CBSSN. Last years game - as you noted was on ESPN - and we are still in negotiations for some of our content. If we could get a few ESPN games a year on Friday nights in addition to what we have that would not be a bad deal.

WKU reports tickets sold just the same as everyone else.

But keep the red tinted glasses on.

Where was I talking smack? There will be around 9k there with listed attendance in the 15 to 18k range. That's if its not cold or raining....neither will affect the listed attendance

You're not only exaggerating the disparity you're claiming WKU doesn't do the exact same thing...
