Barstool Cincinnati Podcast with Mike Bohn
https://soundcloud.com/user-501043548

Good podcast interview of Mike Bohn yesterday. Bohn is first 40 minutes or so of the interview (discussion afterwards about the Reds, XU, etc.)

Some highlights:

- Talked briefly about whether this year's BB season was a success or not.
- Home and home with Michigan hoops in the works.
- New basketball jersey for next year.
- If Evans decide to stay, the university will purchase an insurance policy in the event he is injured.
- Some new arena discussion.
- What UC wants from their coaches.
- Conference realignment .
- Lots more.

Thanks for posting the link. Bohn really comes off as a likeable guy. He's having fun with those guys in the interview.

He has certainly not given up on conference realignment.

Thanks for posting, he's great. That's the first time I've ever had permanent indoor football facility mentioned. Nice to have a athletic director mentioning these things vs reacting when coaches say we need something.

I'm surprised the Michigan thing is coming back around. I thought it was pretty contentious when they pulled out on us earlier. I would want a strong commitment they are going to do it again.

Bohn is a class act. I met him during the CatWalk last year before a football game and he was genuinely excited that we were there. He made some comments along the lines of "We are going to fix this football program." Happy to have him on board.

My hope is that 10 years down the line we'll remember Mike Bohn's efforts to get us into the P5 the same way that Rag remembers Bob Goin getting us into the Big East.

We have gotten some really nice OOC deals for the Basketball team the last couple years. Would be nice to get some better tournaments, and better buy games as well.

RE: Barstool Cincinnati Podcast with Mike Bohn
Bohn has turned out to be a great hire. I know my issue with him initially was he seemed too quiet and flying under the radar. He's out in front now, visible and engaged in his AD role. Loved his comment where he redirected the interviewer by saying the conference realignment endeavors are never done (instead of answering the question is it nice to not have the distraction of conference realignment for the time being to focus on being the best in the American). He emphasized constantly working on the university's profile and national interest...
