In 2 weeks, everyone will forget bball and spring games will be in full swing with what drives the bus.

“Everyone” is quite the exaggeration.

MSN has Cincinnati at #20. No other AAC teams....
They also have Nevada as #13 and Gonzaga at #6.

Nevada is going to be ridiculously good next season. To think we were able to get them as a buy game in Musselman's first year...

For UC, they have a shot at the back half of the top 25 (assuming Evans signs with an agent) if Keith Williams plays to his recruiting ranking and Broome gets more comfortable and becomes a scorer to complement Cumberland. Defense and rebounding will be top notch like every year...

i think the trio of keith will cane and jarron will get more points in the paint than our bigs. not necessarily a bad thing if they make some hoops and the bigs make it tough on d. i could see a lot more points in transition next year. teach eli and brooks how to outlet pass. my buddies and i used to make fun of quinn buckner whenever he'd fawn over one of those. but it truly is a thing of beauty. an outlet pass alleyoop is called thundersnow i believe

anyway, gary parish has us at 25. that roster says otherwise. will be a fun year regardless

Yep, contrary to other homers on this board I think it is a fair assessment.

Yup.

Agreed, but the pieces are all falling into place for long term success for the league. A couple good coaching moves and a high risk/reward move that might pay off.

I’m actually pretty happy to see this considering all the turnover. That being said, I also wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of those teams play their way to higher seed lines and a couple more AAC teams are fighting for spots.

Same number of bids as the Pac 12 .. and I think there are several other teams that could be in contention from the AAC.
