What does Urban Meyer have to do with it? If Candle won't fire bad coaches, eventually he will be gone.

Time will tell. Would be a nice addition, for sure. CMU has a couple interesting names rumored for their new coach. Depending upon who it is (and that selection will come before early-signing period), Finn could go back to CMU. I'm sure there will be a heavy push to get him back in their fold, as he was the premier recruit in their class.

And good news is, he is 1000% commited, so he would basically have to de-commit 10 times before we would lose him.

Big pick up! Was hoping we would go after him after the CMU HC firing. I am sure the firing was just an excuse for him to get out of his commitment. He couldn't have been excited about CMU's 1-11 season.

Presumably his major will not be math. Looks like we backed into a good one, though.

Finn is a 6-foot-2, 183-pound quarterback who finished the season 97-for-166 passing for 1,960 yards, 24 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. He also added 67 carries for 1,159 yards and 20 more touchdowns. He threw for 173 yards and 4 touchdowns while rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Division 3 state championship game that King won, 41-25.

Saw a tweet that said things didn't work out with UT. Perhaps the offer was no longer on the table. Things are a lot different now...colleges offer kids early, but nothing is firm until the scholarship is signed.
