RE: Official AAC Baseball Week 8 Discussion Thread
UConn's bullpen is a tire fire.
Also, is UCF's defense normally this...horrific? They have made a combined 17 errors in 3 games against Rice and UConn this year.

Ucf as a whole has been a mixed bag.
Sweep Florida, then lay two eggs against FSU and then another against Miami, then look so-so in conference.
If they don't get their act together they won't be playing in a regional this year, that's for sure.

Fair enough.
UConn has played terribly this series save for the starting pitching, so I am not confident about game 3.

Don't worry. Ucf is about to blow it in the bottom of the 9th. If they do somehow get out of the jam then it will end due to time constraints. A tie, apparently, per UCF's Twitter.

That was a fitting ending to a baseball series that set the game back 40 years.
Good luck during the rest of conference play.

Not needed. Ucf loses on a wild fraking pitch.
What a gutless and uncoordinated team.
Greg Lovelady needs to start updating his resume if this continues.

UC got out to a quick 6-0 lead but had to hold on as Memphis chipped away. Memphis got a 3 r HR in the top of the 9th but it wasn't enough.
UC wins 8-7 and sweeps Memphis.
UC is 6-3 in the AAC, and now over .500 at 15-14 overall.
Memphis is 1-8, 9-23 overall.

Just good. And that's pushing it.

Can't wait for next weekend's battle of the Southern schools (UCONN @ Wichita). Our bullpen suckiness should excite all WSU players and fans.

If you remember the Coastal Carolina game...I expect much more of that.

Pretty crazy that these southern schools have RPI's in the Top 20. Should be a great series, although right now Saturday has a high slated for the 40's, something these two southern schools aren't used to.
Just a friendly reminder: we gave up 19 runs to Tulane with our Friday guy. So you're probably gonna put up your fair share of crooked numbers.

High of 50 tomorrow in Greenville. It’s cold everywhere.

I have a few minutes, so does anyone have a link to the epic UH parent rant from about a decade ago? I hope it is saved somewhere in the archives of the Internet...
