Villanova's game / scheme
is a guard heavy, three point shooting extravaganza

something I hope Tyler Harris realizes before he commits to Waco TX

this is why Crabtree is important

Nova has a boatload of shooters. I'd like to see Tyler Harris in Tiger blue, he is a great scorer but survey says Baylor. It's best TH moves on if he's not going to buy into the team concept here in Memphis.

I'm trusting Penny will sign players who will buy in, if TH wants to leave Memphis, forsaking what Penny is about to do here and go to Baylor, we'll be ok. We need players to be all in.

Nova is a great example of why basketball is a "team" game, and what it looks like when it's firing on all cylinders.

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Golden St is amply extolled

I think the trend will continue and position less styles common. We might see more "5 out" concepts.

So, Pastner was ahead of the curve?

Yeah but the guards are 6'3", 6'3", 6'7". So it's more along the line of 2 G and 1 SF. The height of their three guards won't be a defensive liability.

He had the concept down, just not the coaching part.
