NO STEVEN CLARK FOR THE FALL
01-lauramac2 Why in the 7734 hasn't this been a story. The coverage mlve is giving us is beyond pitiful. Back when we had a real newspaper this would have been the HEADLINE of the spring .

Sorry John! That’s been common knowledge on this board in previous MLive article 3 to 4 weeks ago.

Western Michigan coach Tim Lester to call the offense in 2018

Nick Buckley/The Enquirer

DT Clark medically disqualified

Lester said that senior defensive tackle Steven Clark has been medically disqualified. Clark transferred to Western Michigan from Syracuse last year after he was medically disqualified by the Orange due to a genetic disorder.

"It hurts because I love the kid," Lester said. "He's been unbelievable. He's like another coach out there ... He's going to be an integral part of our team going forward."

The 6-foot-2, 285-pound Clark played in all 12 games with 11 starts last season, registering 27 tackles including 2 1/2 for loss.

Lots of talent there still, but we need impact players now to emerge.

His dad did say here he’s still involved with the program, so hopefully the mean streak continues to wear off on the others!
