Sitting on a brisk, cloudy 44 degrees right now. Looking for a daytime high of 45 at straight up noon (game time), down to 40 by 4, 32 at about 7:30 pm, and to a crisp low of 22 in the early morning. Sounds like baseball weather...

Today is going to suck, but it was 70 and beautiful yesterday. We will be back to spring weather next week. Just the way it works around here.

It turns out Tulane seemed better prepared for today's weather as they took it to us 19-4.

No big deal though as sometimes a butt whooping in game 1 can get your team's attention (see ECU the last 2 weekends). As coach said, those runs don't carry over to the next 2 games.

Just one game. Tulane scored more runs over 3 games but the better team (WSU) won the series.

Tulane is a quality program that is capable beating any team in the country on a given day but the better team usually wins a 3 game series. WSU looks like a team that should stay towards the top of the AAC standings the rest of the season & hosting is certainly not out of the question.
