7-4. With the win tonight, Little Rock is assured of winning the first three series of Sun Belt play. Two of those on the road. Garcia gets yet another save. Trojans are really playing well!

Garcia gets his seventh save of the season. That young man may be exactly what we’ve needed and haven’t had in years. Hope we don’t wear him out. I believe he had four saves in a row.

At the moment we are tied for first in the West, and three games ahead of third.
Coastal is a full two games ahead of us overall.

How do the divisions play into post-season in baseball?

Division winners are guaranteed a 1 or 2 seed I believe. After that everything seeded based on conference record regardless of division.

So let's say Little Rock wins the west but two teams in the east have better records you'd still be the 2 seed.

We are tied for first in the west, however the team that we are tied with, UTA, got both of their conference losses from Little Rock and lost the series with the Trojans and therefore the tie breaker. But let's not get ahead of ourselves here, it's a long, long way to the end of the season and the conference tournament!

So true, but this is the first time I can remembered us winning two, let alone three series in a season. Even I am starting to get a little excited. Really excited about Garcia in the pen. Normally I get ready to head for the exit when we have to go to the bullpen.
