Seen this earlier. Can't knock the kids confidence, wish him the best of luck. He's going to need it.

I don't even need to add anything.
Meh....a little misleading.
He never claims to be the most NFL ready in terms of talent or ability. He's selling himself as ready from a maturity and mentality standpoint. To summarize, he claims to be the most prepared to be a "professional". I take that as he can be counted on to know the gameplan, is ready at anytime; in general the most ready to show up everyday and do his job the best he can.
I've not followed the kid much and know little about him outside of just being a CFB fan. Is he off target with his assesment or is he known as the type who puts his head down and grinds? If there's any substance to his claim, it seems a solid angle to pitch for a fringe draft pick.

O'Korn is one of the 5 worst Michigan QBs of my lifetime.

RE: John O'Korn says...
John O'Korn had an excellent freshman year at UH. He never lived up to the promise of that season, however.
Freshman year at UH: 3,117 yards, 58.1%, 28 TD, 10 INT
Rest of his career (UH+MICH): 2,097 yards, 53%, 10 TD, 14 INT
Those numbers seem to indicate he should be preparing for life after football.

If by NFL-ready he means he's got experience dating a 15 year old, then yes.

I highly doubt anyone on this thread was saying that four years ago but if you've got a link to a past thread, please post it, I would love to have a good laugh at my fellow coogs expense.

RE: John O'Korn says...
Nick Foles, the Super Bowl MVP, nearly quit the NFL to go into the Ministry, due to lack of confidence. For a few years before winning the SP MVP he struggled mightily going from team to team, given the starting job and quickly losing it.
He did have tremendous success under one coach, Andy Reid, a few years before struggling, achieving the 2nd highest QB rating ever that season. With his confidence returned, and better coaching and team around him, he led the SP drive for the Eagles, having just one bad game during the stretch.
I'm not saying that O'Korn can follow that pattern, but with good coaching and better team around him it couldn't hurt.

Maybe he was referring to being the 3rd string emergency QB that never gets in, ... for which he may have a point.
Its all about context.

I can't remember who, but there was a very prominent Houston poster on here who had a picture of O'Korn with Andre Ward holding the Heisman with something along the lines of "Houston's past and future Heisman winners" in a not tongue in cheek way.

I didn't find the post in question but after digging back through several off-season threads for the 2014 year, I'm sure you memory is accurate. I wasn't on the forum at that time so I wasn't a part of it but god **** did we talk a lot of smack prior to the season. I guess it was karma that we tanked it hard that year. Lmao

John of Korn was just interviewed during the Tigers game. He's there with Jake Rudock.

Aikman was struggling as young QB. It was when Jimmy Johnson brought in Norv Turner as OC that he gained confidence and became a HOF QB. Turner introduced Aikman and the HOF ceremony.
