Democrats hold up gay nominee
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/03/...minee.html

"...Barrasso wants to change a rule that allows for 30 hours of Senate discussion for each nominee, which Republicans say effectively allows Democrats to jam up the appointment process to a ridiculously slow crawl. Barrasso wants to limit the number of hours of discussion down to eight - a standard Democrats themselves supported under the Obama administration...."

WHY has it taken McConnell so long to change this?

And even if he didn't, he ought to have them working from 8 in the morning until midnight 7 days a week like people in the private sector would.

That would end a bunch of this nonsense.

WHY has it taken McConnell so long to change this?

Because he’s worthless. Just like the republican leadership for a couple of decades.

What does the fact that he's gay have to do with anything?

Yup, that's the game... The dems whinged about this when they were in power but while they "supported it", they never changed the rules.

A question that every conservative has had to ask a liberal about some political issue at some point in the past 15 years
