Post Season 3 on 3 Tournament for Seniors
I saw Ohio announced Mike Laster will be on team MAC for a 3x3u hoops tournament ( Link). It looks like this is a new thing this year being played in San Antonio later this month. There will be 32 teams, each representing a conference, and 4 players to a team. Games to be streamed online with the semifinals / finals on ESPN2. I didn’t see who the other 3 players from the MAC would be. (Laster wasn’t on the original list from the tournament website)
• Each pool play win will earn the team $1,000.
• A quarterfinal win will earn the team $1,000.
• A semifinal win will earn the team $1,000.
• The team that wins the third-place game will earn $1,000.
• The team that wins the championship will earn $50,000.

Yeah those are the listed nominees on the web page, but since Laster is announced as being on the team, who know who will actually be playing...

The nature of the injury hasn’t been publicized but it appears to be pretty serious.

A little O/T but I was surprised to see Fletcher start the game with EMU and had to leave the first time he jumped and came down on his leg/knee.
I have no idea what type of assessment the trainer did, but it couldn't have been much.
I'd thought that the normal pregame warm ups have enough drills such that any problems with a knee would result in pain and scratch from the game.
Curious if Fletcher tried to talk the team into letting him play? (Of course we wouldn't know that inside information).

He certainly didn't baby it on that play... It was irritated obviously but he went thru warm ups fine. Just a weird angle on a bad knee.

By the way the final roster was Wes Clark, Mike Laster, Kevin Zabo, and Cecil Williams.
