You know I love all this, but even I don't see this as a total surrender. You may be over reacting a bit.

I'd be more upset about him appointing a neocon as National Security Adviser. What gives with that?

Ehhh. The nations attention span is about 15 seconds (thats probably generous). There will be a thousand "it all depends on this" issues between now and mid terms. Frankly, I suspect many FBI officials, state department officials, and Obama era administration members will be wearing handcuffs by November. Nobody in the mainstream has even considered the effect the Inspector Generals report and the subsequent round of investigations will have on the electorate. I predict the election landscape wont look anything like it does today and the budget wont even be blip on the radar.

Unfortunately, this is exactly how I felt this afternoon, and have not moved off that position. For whatever reason, my once proud President has been castrated, and sounded like Mitch McConnell than a real man that was hell bent on draining the swamp in which he now resides.

He's never been a proud man. He's a fake reality tv ***** and a fraud. Always has been.

Let the left have him back. They might even take him back now.

Some of you seem to think he was a hard right conservative. After Graham and Pataki, he was probably the least conservative in the Republican field.
