Good hire ? What can people tell me about him?

Will our basketball facilities be upgraded and will this make me care about basketball like I do for football and baseball ?

He was at LA Tech when Brian White was there.

I like Dusty, he's a good guy and a good coach.

I live in northeast Ohio and don't care about fau basketball much because they haven't made a big effort in that sport imo

Overall athletic facilities are being upgraded.

As for the arena I think it's waste to upgrade. It might be small, but it's definitely not a dump.
They have box seats, enough bathroom, good lighting, sounds, concessions.

Before La Tech, he was an assistant for a couple of years under Mike Davis at UAB. He's been a lot of places. I guess its FAU's turn.

Brian White is big on basketball, I’m sure he will start campaigning for facility upgrades after the last phase of fundraising is completed for the indoor practice facility.

Dusty May was our top choice. I’m pretty excited.

Despite all that, looks small time and that will always hurt you with recruiting obviously nice arenas don't guarantee success (Charlotte and utep have some of the nicer hoops facilities in league), but in cusa 3.p, those at the top of the league most consistently have had some of the better facilities in the league.

Very excited about some of the potential improvements for FAU basketball. Did not know you all were planning to make more investment into basketball facilities. That's exciting for CUSA basketball imo.

And ODU opened its new basketball practice facility just prior to this season. It is attached to the TED (the on campus basketball arena) and should help with recruiting. ODU has a nice recruiting class signed for this upcoming season.

I'm sorry but Ive seen better DII facilities than what FAU, FIU and UTSA play in. That's just a fact.

Yep. Fill that arena up and it's no longer an eyesore. It's a helluva good atmosphere.
