I didn't vote. I'm just glad we are back to high expectations, the hope that we can possibly get there, and rid of the everyday gloom that seemed to surround the program.

I thought Penny would be great - I never imagined this great. He hasn’t toned down expectations once, has talked about winning national championships, etc. I am incredibly excited by the hire and how quickly things have flipped

I qualified what turnaround means as of now and I didn’t put winning games of course

This is a great question, I actually saw it pretty close to this level of apathy during the 1998-1999 during Tic Price's last year. Watching his absolutely brutal coaches show, I couldn't help but notice that Tic was awful and his product on the floor was awful...and the Pyramid was anything but full.

I've also seen the level of excitement when Calipari took over.

My point is that Penny gives us hope. If it works out, holy cow, it would be unreal.

Penny's timing is impeccable. Tubby was draining the program of any life left of it (pretty darn close to 'he's dead Jim') yet the Memphis HS basketball talent level seems to be REALLY high in the next couple of years. Plus, UC, Wichita State and hopefully UCONN will make for a pretty solid schedule. Throw in a few marquee non-conference games and I think season tix sales will do really well.

If Tony Madlock comes on board that would be awesome (is it official or not?) and then if Penny can get a seriously good x's and o's coach, there's no reason we cannot be top-25 quickly.

I think TURNAROUNDS are based on results but.....Penny has turned around the program at EAST and prior success with a "turnaround" rather than just saying you think you can do it.....is a great indicator of future "turnaround success". Penny's last 3 years at EAST has proven that he can do it. That was not quite the case when Tubby was hired. Those added two years with Penny leading EAST has told us a lot about his abilities.

I couldn't vote, because there's not enough choices.

I'm not shocked everything started to turn around within hours after Penny's hire, and I also didn't now just realize how the program was as dead as it was under Tubby.

I’m not surprised at any of this. Went down like I expected. Penny has work ethic and love for university. Been harping about tubby since before the hire on Twitter. And with writers.

	Yeah, I’m shocked how within hours of Penny being announced that everything started to turnaround from fans enthusiasm, season ticket sales, recruiting, nation relevance....etc
	Looking at all of this euphoria makes me realized how utterly dead and nearly buried this program was for many, many years (I knew it but now I truly see how it was)
	Both - They go hand-in-hand
