Don't think Wade's Marquette ever played against Memphis.

Definitely did.

Marquette and Memphis did not play one another in the 2001-02 season and the 2002-03 season.

Dwayne Wade played at MU from 2001-2003.

Therefore, Wade never played Memphis.

Interesting, thanks for correcting that

Inconceivable to me that you could be in the same league and not play in one season, let alone two.

Yeah. 16 games in conference. Each division had 7 teams. 2x each 6 division foes (12) and 4 of the other 7 in the other division.

I remember being really pissed that we never got to see that matchup due to crazy scheduling.

The year Wade could have played Memphis he was academically ineligible 2000/2001.

That dude that played for Houston right around when Pastner started coaching that had the huge scar on his neck. Seems like he dropped 30 points on us every time we played them.

Edit: The googles say Aubrey Coleman.

In six games against us in 08-09 and 09-10, he dropped 30 points on us three different times but Memphis was 2-1 in those games.

http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketb...=300550248

In the other three games he put 19, 14, and 21 on us and we were 2-1 in those games as well

Don't know if that qualifies him as a killer, but I remember he used to really p*$$ me off anyways.

Also did this which made him really easy to hate:

I wonder what the hell I’m thinking about then. I certainly remember him being an amazing college player and making what seemed like every shot he took in a game I watched. Thought it was against us, but maybe not. Maybe conference tournament or NCAA game in Memphis?

Yes, Steve Logan was Tiger killer too. I'd forgotten about him. Aubrey Coleman used to score a ton of points when we played
Houston if I'm connecting him right. Even AA couldn't stop him. But we wound up winning those games anyway.

Vasquez too. Like Chalmers, he was another Grizz player too.

Grevis Vasquez?

Why did we hate him? We murdered his team by like 30 points in the tourney. That was the 2nd round game. The next game we played Missouri in the Sweet 16 and Cal "threw the game" LOL
