This is what it’s like when Memphis fans think they have hope. Imagine how bad it’s gonna be if they actually are good. I personally don’t think it happens with a high school coach, but if it does, look out.

Shockers have been the worst perps of this. Memphis is just enjoying their (hopeful) move away from mediocrity.

I was about to make Pot, meet Kettle reference but I was beat to the punch. Shocker fans have been the worst about this and now are getting to see how much of an annoyance it was to the rest of us. Let Memphis have their fun. It's a terrible decision that will be shown later but for now let them be happy. I hope it works out but I think it will not.

Ah yes. This place was much more glorious when you guys spent most of the summer telling us how great you were going to be in the AAC. Well that didn’t exactly come to fruition and then you got buried under a Thundering Turd. As if that wasn’t enough, you lived in denial about the fact that one of your best recruits for 2018 was about to bounce. Then he did. Here’s to hoping you keep your coach! If not, it’s going to be a rough offseason. That and you’ll probably hear about the swell job Penny is doing on the recruiting trail. But hey, we’re conference mates, surely we can get a small amount of joy when the other succeeds. In the words of Bobby McFerrin, don’t worry be happy!
