For next year the MAC will have the following wrestling media markets.

Missouri (Kansas City)
SIU-E (St. Louis)
NIU (Chicago)
CMU (Flint/Saginaw)
Kent St (Cleveland/Akron)
Ohio (Columbus)
Buffalo (WNY)
Old Dominion (Tidewater)

Nice mix of markets for TV IMO.

SoCon losing SIU-E to the MAC kinda sucks. I hope they pick up Little Rock.

Yes, except does anyone watch college wrestling on TV anywhere? Even in Iowa?

Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State all finished in the top 4.
Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State are all within 4 hours of Cleveland.
Penn State edged Ohio State for its 7th team title in 8 years.

Clearly the MAC as the host was the big draw.

Big Ten took top 4 spots!

Yeah, the MAC wasn’t the big draw, but they did a real nice job hosting. Having the host city lie right in between UM, PSU and OSU and within easy driving distance of all three was the bonus.

True but with EMU getting out of the game that helps the MAC IMO.

Iowa got 3rd and brought a ton of fans with them as well...my grandpa among them. This wasn’t a MAC victory....

Pretty impressive...and crazy so many would watch it

Maybe this will catch espn’s attention and they’ll air all meets on weeknights.

This wasn't the MAC's doing. We may have done a good job hosting, but it's not like if the Big Ten were hosting instead the whole event would've went to hell; we benefited from the teams involved, and capitalized.

Um, it's 3.5. Unless the official NCAA website has it wrong, Iowa came in 3rd, not ISU. Also, although NCS tied with Mich, Mich is listed higher based on having 5AAs to NCS' 4AAs. The BIG took 5 of the top 10 and 9 of the top 20 team finishes.
