lets dial back the expectations a little. A trip to the NCAA tourney in 2-3 years, conference title in 4-5 years and a possible trip to the 2nd weekend of the NCAA tourney.

Cronin went to a S16 in year six at Cinci. He was 40 years old.

If best case scenario happens with the local five and four star recruits and he gets the lions share of them, Penny needs to win big and get those guys into the NBA to keep it rolling by being able to recruit outside of Memphis.

I would love a national championship, but I’d be happy with a sweet sixteen and two NCAAs in the next four years.
