Set aside the fact that it would be better for him professionally; i think it may actually help Cincy's brand. Right now, the only Bearcats in the L are Killa and Born Ready; both low profile players. JEIII has a chance to raise Cincy's profile if he's able to breakthrough.

EDIT: Can you imagine how JEIII would do in San Antonio?

Not only is 3&D not a bad thing, it's potentially a very good living. Funny you mentioned SA, if he could be like Bruce Bowen was for them I think that'd be a great role.

SK just signed another contract and has around 4 years service time. Is there anything on a basketball court that SK is better at than JEIII other than taking more shots? For guys who are going to be the 5-8 guys on a team JEIIIs skill set is so much more valuable.

3's with inconsistent shooting are a dime a dozen.

He shot 42% from 3 as a sophomore and was over 40% all year this year until he got hurt. Hardly an inconsistent shooter.

Three point line in College is not comparable to NBA 3 point line. But if he is a first round pick he should go.

What do you mean by not comparable? it is further out but you can fathom JEIII being able to hit from NBA range. At least i can.

I did not see an NBA player in JE this year - especially a first round pick one.

He should go if he's a first rounder, but he won't be.

I did until he was playing hurt the last 5 or 6 games (from Tulane on). Not saying he'd definitely be a 1st rounder but I have no doubt he could play in the NBA.
